Then it would be a higher reading Mustang or b16's car would be really sad numbers...

Pretty much all the stock Evos on COBB's old one did in the 190-210 range, give or take. I did 207. I know there were a few freaks that did more, but certainly nothing in the 230s.

Ya I forgot its a mustang dyno. I think I am thinking more of a Dynojet numbers. Ya Cobb's Dyno if you where over the 300whp mark that was pretty good for some bolt on's. Jake your old car never made it over 300 did it?

Nope, I'll have to dig out my old sheets but as I recall I was right around the 270/270 mark. And that was with a bogus Dynocrap tune. Still boggles my mind that a tuner wouldn't go "Hmm, your car is severely pulling timing, perhaps your boost gauge is wrong and we're over boosting... let's turn down the boost." Rather than "You must have crappy gas, go drive until you can put better gas in your car."

The only good that came of that was discovering Chevron has better gas then Shell and Costco, since the car pulled timing a lot less with Chevron.

I made 355whp/310wtq in my WRX on Cobb's dyno in SLC After a built motor and 104 octane tune I made 400whp/380wtq.

My BBY car started at 197 on COBB's dyno and eventually got around 280.

I think I was there the day you dynoed it, didn't you add a test pipe or something that day? I was pretty impressed my old 88 RX7 put down more HP than a new Evo did! (By one hp IIRC) Not quite so much torque though

I added a Perrin muffler delete and picked up a few HP on my next run.

Yah that was you then. And we all went to the Pi after for pizza, and I don't remember his name but you let one of the RX7 guys drive your car and he just about backed over my car in the parking lot.

I think I can blame you for me one day buying my Evo then! That was the first one I saw up close.

Edit: I win!

I don't remember letting anyone drive after that but I always let people drive it. I loved that car. The one car I wish I still had. Glad I could pass on the love though.
