So I opened up EcuFlash and checked out my Map and sure as **** they are one and the same.
Th JDM RS map is a good starting point but it can definately be improved upon...

Where did you find out how to play with Mivec? Or Is it a test and tune process?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...vvt-timing.jpg Completely stock JDM map

Got to find me a tuning book lol. It doesn't seem that difficult untill you get into injector scaling. But it will be nice to know how to play around with my own map.

Do a good and through search of MIVEC tunes here on evom. There have been MIVEC t00n3rZ that have slammed MIVEC from low-end torque, to top end power as quick as they could and in the worst case sheared cam shafts. There are a few believers that think if you ramp the MIVEC past a certain rate, you end up slamming and then bouncing the cam against the stops.

I think there is more than just the MIVEC involved on those cams, but it sounds like MIVEC can make some serious stress things happen to the cam system.

Did anybody look up the nice twin-plate clutch paper analysis I made a couple days ago?

Thanks. I was hoping to get some feedback to revive the article and see if Spec would comment some more on their design, and perhaps release some statistics.

I usually find at that level of submitting a couple pages or more of information, I'm down the path significantly that I either need feedback, verification, direction, or all of the above.

Thanks for reading again.
