No plans to buy it back. Government has been cracking down hard on Imported RHD cars and I do not want to deal with all the crap that is going on right now like what is happening with the Skylines. Car is in Florida now anyhow and with a good owner. Probably in the best of hands that I can think of. The guy owns a few Other Mitsubishi's and a Evo 3 too.

 

Yep mine sits under a burnt car cover c: its almost paid off . I herd about the skyline owners get them seized and what not. I wonder what there doing to them (cars) . So if you get from Canada is it legal to bring it over to the US? Ive seen lots of Canadian cars/RV's in UT. for vacation. And how much did your VI cost you? (that's a lot of smiles)

 

Ya mine should be paid off by the end of the year if I pay it off but I will probably sell it before that happens.

No not all Cars in Canada are legal in the US just like not all US cars are not legal in Canada The Skylines are getting Crushed or exported

Summary:

The guy came highly recommended but after reading up online I ve become very pissed off on each day him telling me it isnt ready wait till tomorrow. Originally I came in tuesday to drop off the piping which he was going to do for $30.00 ($2 a inch) and be done wedesday. Well supposevely he sprayed it wedesday and the powder didnt set right so he needed to order more in. I call him friday and ask him if the intake would be ready to be picked up from me after work in which he said yes. I called him after work and asked if it was ready in which he texted me and said it wasnt but he would be around my area and drop it off at my apartment. I gave him the address and texted him the minute I got home to see when he would come by (that was at 5:30ish pm). I got a bite to eat with my girl and was out for a hour, checked my phone and texted him asking again, no response. 1 hour later same thing, 1 1/2 later same thing. I texted him today saying done or not I m going to be picking it up from the shop after work and said he was taking too long and stringing me along. He sent me a text saying : taking too eh? you think your part should be first, but thats not that way.

I told him done or not I m picking it up after work. Well I contact my friend in which they tell me he s F-d over a few honda guys, so they tell me call the police department that maintains that area and notify them whats going on. So I ve contacted the cops and let them know that I m going to the shop after work and I may need them there to get the part and I may need to push criminal charges on him of theft if he doesnt return the intake piping. I have the invoice from scott so I say bring it. I m waiting for a officer to call me and this will all be going down at 2pm mst. Hopefully no issues and its done and I just walk away with what I wanted and I never use him again. I texted him saying your lying and I know about your scams. He contacted me back saying that he was stripping the powdercoating from the intake pipe and that I could pick up my ebay pipe from him tonight.....(lolz the intake costs $300.00) I called the cops asap and told them what was going on and had officers dispatched to his store. He texted me saying he wasnt at the shop and that the scams dont matter after 5 years.

 

Are you talking about Shawn at UNKNOWNCOATINGS? He is probably the best coater is SLC and is very busy with rims that cost more than your car. Things take time and you need to chill out. It don't matter if its an eBay part or Bugatti rims $hit happens and things take time. And as you will see others will back him up on this forum. he is a great guy and alot of us have done business and will continue to business with him. And after reading what you said on 9glancer.gay........ bad move I really don't like you at all. And I hope every one reads what you said so they can see what a D!CK you are.

 

Thats a bunch of bull****, Shawn is a good dude....He is just WAY too busy and works around the clock lately to try and keep up. Many times he sleeps at the shop and works 48 hrs straight. His work is flawless and is def worth the wait. Many in this Utah thread will chime in and tell you off some more Lancer.

 

He's a good guy in my book. I've chilled at his shop and bull ****ted with him for hours. Does amazing work. I think you need to calm down. He has a lot better stuff he could steal if he wanted. Hell his video camera got broke up go karting and he didn't even care( it came of bj's cart and straight under mine since I was stuck behind his slow ***). Pretty sure he doesn't need your pipe that bad. He wouldn't rip you off. If you don't want to get stuff done by him then your loss. He won't miss your business. He has plenty of happy customers every day.

 

You know I ve made some dumb posts in the past but when it comes to issues like this I keep people accountable and he didnt like that I held him to a deadline, after all I was hiring him to do the work which means we had a verbal agreement contract in which its bad business if you keep stringing someone along. It would have been different if he told me the truth but instead he kept lying constantly and I have about 20+ texts to prove it.
Really.....so you want to deal with someone who has this in their past???

Dude I've talked to him about that stuff before. Kid got his valve cover powdered and his money back. Sound like a good deal to me.

 

So should i link the UtahPace stuff here for everyone to see how you are for all to see? We aren't in high school anymore...rumors are bull****. I know him personally...why would I care about those links? I am pretty sure he didn't run off with my wheels, highly doubt he will take you intake pipe. Once again look how much a set of Volks run and he has plenty of them at his shop, he is not a thief. And maybe if you actually talked to him about the PAST rumors you could see how it really turned out.

 

Well maybe if he wasnt telling people where I live and streaming crap over and telling lies this bull**** would stop. All I wanted was my intake piping which after a long fight I got back...now back to the main thing...how would you feel if you had all this come up after the contract was noll and void due to the change in date:

ps just as damage control my bishop helped me out after I had just paid to keep my parents from going bankrupt due to a idiot totaling my mom's car and having to pay huge medical bills. Also I did not get a stage 2 put in, it was a oem flywheel and clutch in which I had jason who is a trusted friend install.
