Good to hear your feeling better.

Luckly I haven't been that sick but I've been dealing with a pretty good head cold the last week. My test that I just took sucked! Didn't help that I was sick either.

I think we've both been doing that for a few years now

Hmm, that might be fun..I wouldn't win by any means but, I might be able to put something down for other "stockish" turbo evos to shoot for

How much boost are you spiking then holding at redline & how is it controlled?

I cannot log boost as I do not have a x map sensor, but by looking at it I'm spiking 22 psi and tapering to 18~19 by redlne. It is controlled by a mbc. I just found my stock boost solenoid so I will be tuning with that here pretty soon. I might end up buying a 3 port depending on how well the stock one holds up.

I would skip the stock solenoid & go straight to the 3-port with psi based control. With the stock solenoid you will have to mess around with making pills & it is nowhere near as responsive as the 3-port. when mrfred did his testing the GM unit came out on top & the Grimspeed was second. I've tuned both & can confirm that the GM is slightly more responsive, either is a good choice though..I run the GM unit myself

Yeah, my failsafe map is a flat 20 psi to 7500 RPM, you probably don't want to hold any more than that though. When I'm running straight 91 oct my logs start to show a intake temp rise at that psi in the higher RPM range. On meth I'll let it hold 22 psi out the top since the charged air is ALOT cooler.

Yeah I figured that would be really maxing the turbo. 20 psi and a bigger intercooler I think I will be sitting pretty .

Is everyone going to the dyno day thing at ziptie on the 26th of march? I'm hoping to hit better than 245 whp (uncorrected) hahahah.

I'm tuned to 25 max psi and it will sit and hold around 22-23, running 110 leaded though, stock turbo/injectors, TBE and intake.

Yeah this is my DD , 91 and lower boost for me . My goal is 300 whp so If I hit that I will be happy

Edit Do you have a ported manifold? Or is it holding that boost with just a 3 port?
