I have the same thing in white. We absolutely love it.

Does anyone know anything about this car? I'm going to be without my X starting next week, and need a weekend warrior to replace it.

I noticed that, and thought this might be the kind of dealership that doesn't really understand what they have. Maybe I can get it for even cheaper. Need to find out more details though.

You don't need one. It doesn't get THAT cold.

I haven't had an engine block heater since I lived in Fargo, ND. Unless you're going to see weeks of subzero temps, it's not necessary.

Couple of questions:
1) How long do you plan on keeping your car?
2) Do you plan on upgrading the motor ever?
3) Where do you park your car most of the time?
4) How long do you let your car warm up before driving it?
a) How long do you let your car warm up before going WOT/Boost range?
5) Do you wipe your car down every day with a baby diaper or do you realize it is only a 20k car and any "investment" value from it is lost already and that in 10 years it will be nearly worthless?
6) How much do you start and stop and restart your car during the winter?

Really in Utah there should be little need for an engine heater, especially for an inline 4. Boxer motors would have more point to a heater but still silly.
