I am not ruling out another evo, but I think I would like to try out something RWD that has less weight. The only problem is I am 6'4", 250 lbs, so finding something I fit in has been a problem. I had no idea that purple M3 looked that good. I would have bought it on the spot.

I will always be a big fan of the Evo's and I will probably get another one after I sell mine to get a house. Well the E36 M3 isn't lighter than a Evo 8 or 9 its actually heavier Down side with those heavy German cars

True, I'm coming from a pig-heavy X, so it might be slightly lighter.

E36 M3's aren't that heavy and hey 50/50 split isn't ba for weight distribution I love mine!! I loved the other 2 e36's too and I even loved my old guy e30! There just always fun to drive and handle great...don't have that straight line power like the evo...unless you boost it

The Curb weight is listed at 3400ish lbs Still they are kinda Heavy.

Exactly why I think it needs some boost and it will probably be getting it soon

Haha Ya they are too heavy for what they are Need to get rid of full size space, tools, sub and amp, the front and rear seats and that should put it closer to 3100-3200lbs. Then we are in Stock Evo 8 territory

I know that some of these E36 body style cars are in the 2200-2400lbs rang in race for mate so there is a lot these things can loose weight wise. Its all in the luxury and sound deadning of these cars.
