It's funny because I can totally feel how that would feel... Though it was going from wingless to winged in the S2k. But still. Corners like that, those high speed slight turns... they're the ones where the spoilers are needed the most. Those and the 80 mph sweepers when some VW is trying to race you in your friend's RS...

Totally off-subject, but I had a spare 4g69 intake manifold that I gave to Jason (fairclough) a few weeks ago. I used to have a 2004 ralliart, but traded in for the evo. The manifold just ended up sitting in my garage for almost 2 years. Perhaps he'd be willing to port it for you. As I understand it, you don't want him to polish it as well, but a gasket match on the ports themselves may yield good results. At any rate, it may be of no interest to you, but I thought I'd let you know.

The Element Tuning guy's steering inputs are jerky, jabs of the steering wheel. It's like he has seen video of drivers making quick, jerky corrections when the car loses grip (appropriate then) and decided that's how all his steering input should be. d'oH!

I love the sound of the bmw
but yes I do need an exhaust..there's a borla I could throw on but it doesn't do much for power..we were thinking more along the line of getting a borla muffler and doing custom 3" back..prob with some longtube headers..I still need to get that intake mani on but instead of buying the adapter stuff were trying to make our own

Yeah, I read about the 599xx and fxx... Now I'm excited. The 599xx looks super sweet.
