He actually has almost all the interior back in it so its close to a stock RS weight. I would say its in thr 2950-3000lb rang.

 

Has anyone seen a black Evo 9 run a 12.1? A guy I know says he ran a 12.1 a couple weeks ago and he's not the type of person to tell the truth so just wondering if anyone else has or had seen it run 2 weeks ago? I know of the 2 evo's that ran a 11.5 but just looking to see if this guy is lying again.

 

Dallin, I'm pretty dang certain it's much lighter than stock. Unless Alex really recently put everything back in. I remember it weighing less or around the same as stock with George in it if I'm not mistaken. Btw it was a 1.9 60' and trapped at 115mph still in a 9 4th gear lol. Said he was revving the **** out of it.

 

Doesn't ring a bell to me and I don't believe rmr went on two weeks ago? What mods does he have? Does he even have a black evo? There was a third black evo with gold wheels there that the guy just bought from a friend of a friend. I don't think it has a stock turbo, can't remember but his times weren't close to 12.1 (high 13s from what I hear)

 

I bet he was running it to 8300 RPM at least lol. I talked to him in line and the back seat, door panels, most of the other panels and stock seats are back in so Its close to stock. I am sure the trunk has nothing in it though A Stock 9 RS is around 3150 lbs With the stock Motor and everything with most of the stock Interior I am pretty sure he doesn't have much more than 200lbs out of it

115 is only about 7900-8000 rpm. my limiter is set to 8350 and i hit it when i trapped 125. evo 9 gearing licks but its not that bad
my lower ic pipe blew off both passes towards the top of the track but i was happy with my times. nick & todds evo's are beasts

I was mistaken then I that is right since when I ran my Evo years ago that I was closer to 7500 around 105mph. That would make sense then I forget that stock Evo Rev limit is around 7500-7800

 

This is correct, I'm pretty sure he moved. But I could be wrong. Which sucks, because getting those made from someone who isn't a friend (like the mall stands) will be expensive for sure.

 

hey i just moved here to utah 2 weeks ago and picked up my gg evo 9 today, looking forward to seeing other evos around the area, so far iv seen too many stis.

Anyone have a picture of one of the stickers? My brother owns a sign shop, I could probably make them for cheap. And I'll see what I can do to find the font.
