Anyone going to ThunderHill on 2/07?
Anyone going to ThunderHill on 2/07?
I cant wait. This will be my first trackday. Ive been going to the drags for years and want to check out what happens when the straight ends
I have a quick question for those that go all the time. Should I get a set of slicks or at least some Dot race tires? Or will it be just as fun on the stock rubber? I know most will probably say just go on the street rubber, but Im a fast driver and want to have maximum fun, and beat the snot out of my friends z06(he isnt the best driver, so I think Ive got a shot at it). Well what do you guys think as for tires?
Thanks
Sean

I was at thunderhill back in Nov and will be there on 2/8. The a046 stock tires should be more than enough for thunderhill. The brake pads may need an upgrade, but they should also be sufficient on thunderhill. The key to fast laptimes is late apex
hey racers there is a post about the track meet on the 8th of feb. on norcalevo.net at thunderhill. check it out since its gonna be a westcoast evo meet (norcall & socal) so u could sign in and i think its gonna be cheaper since its a evo meet also.
