So Cal Evo Owners

Hey all,

I am moving to San Bernardino, CA in the next month. Would love to meet some fellow enthusiasts and find some meets and whatnot.

I'm 27 have a ww evo x mr, I've been into evos since I got my first one in 2011. I work on them and play with them. Also do tuning on evos. HMU would love to meet some cool people in the area!

Haha thats great. I've been visiting my friend out there the last couple years and just love it. Got a great opportunity to try the big move out so I am taking the chance!

I'm always down for some track time, any other good tracks in the area? Is E85 readily available in the area?

Yeah, E85 is very easy to find. I now have a station 10 min away so i dont store E85 in cans anymore. As far as tracks, Fontana is your best choice but driving East towards Palm Springs the new track Chuckwalla is open. Further West is Willow Springs & Button Willow

Awesome. What's the going rate for it out there? Last time I was down a month ago regular unleaded was around $4/gallon lol. Up in MN its at $2/gallon (unleaded e85 is around $1.50/$1.75) so I think I'll go E85 just for the cost savings if it's as cheap there as it is here.

Yep, gas prices are a shocker compared to other parts of the country. E85 is going for approx $2.50 per/gal

Excellent news / Congrats @Clippers_FTW

Keep us posted on your progress. The fact that youve already owned one, means you are serious about this?

Cheers, Joe

Yes Absolutely. I'd do things right this time though. I pieced together a kit. made 450whp and 350tq on 91 with meth on a 35r turbo with hks280 cams.. I feel if i had a legit kit now a days and on e85 I'd make better numbers.

Knowing it was a rare car I should have kept my '06 WW RS but I sold it to a person in the bay area. He in turn sold it to someone in the LA area about 8 years ago.
Interested if anyone possibly knows if it is still around. Had a 2.4L installed at the time of sale.
