Utah Evos
so before you learn'd or even practiced heel toe did the concept seem rather IMPOSSIBLE (actually not impossibly but extremely awkward and insanely hard to do right?) watching colin Mcrae dancing with the peddles (as jeremy clarkson says "river dancing" makes it seem tough!
In any case, me saying that is just my way of saying that I stick to racing on the track... For the most part...

as a good friend of mine already said, you look like a big enough tool just sitting in a car with such a "wing" (even tho we know its a spoiler right/... go ahead, break out the webster dictionary!) but it would look even worse driving around like its F&F salt lake streets for lyfe.
maybe i will practice this heel toe thing in my bruddas rsx!
maybe he could pickup some cougars?

Question for anyone and everyone. I'm going to sell the Xede Piggyback that's on the car right now. What's it worth? I dont' see too many sell on the forums or anywhere else. I know they were $800 new but it doesn't look like its a very popular device. What should I list it for realistically. Thanks.
It is easiest to describe it like learning how to drive stick in the first place, the concepts and motions etc are easy to grasp, perfecting them so you rarely stall/jerk the car/etc is harder. Plus, its a really easy thing to practice just driving around town, even when I'm not heel-toeing I'm rarely using more than my big toe to push the brakes w/ the heel usually just resting on the gas pedal. It was mostly just awkward like you said than anything else, a lot of racing tecniques do seem awkward, going slow to go fast still weirds me out, especially when I'm instructing and finally get a student to take number 6 slower and correctly, that corner is a ***** for most newbies because they have it marked weird. The thing that takes longest for me hopping in a different car as far as heel-toeing is concerned is getting used to the right range of speed to downshift at and what gear to choose.

Before you guys kill yourselves remember that its more like lefthalf-righthalfeding it... Since the pedals are so close nowadays its not technically heel-toeing. Easiest to start practicing by holding the brake and revving the engine (or even just pushing the gas) at the same time. Then you can be a cool hommie and rev at a stop light on a hill without putting the ebrake on or ruining your clutch. Then the next thing is to start practicing while coming to a stop.
