No offense taken, I asked what you guy's thought. I say we do the BBQ in a couple of weeks, so we can plan it better.

 

Any idea on were to go for a cruse for the BBQ?

 

Personally I would live to have one of the new GTR'S like COBB'S. IF you can get it for the sticker price that is. Cobb had the car in the modified class and it was doing very well. All they have done to it is a Exhaust, Front splitter, and rear diffuser. and that all thats it. It was funning in the low 1:4?'S on the west track that is a good time for a heavy mostly stock car I say.

 

They only managed low 1:40s in that? How low? Factory tires and brakes etc (fluids, interior, blah blah blah)? 91 octane gas?

Jake I just looked it up Billy Brooks was the Driver and the car was put in the Unlimited AWD class ? dont know why tho. The car has everything I just said so it pretty much stock. It did also have tires. Stock Brakes, and all other fluids. He ran consistantly in the 1:41 and ran a best of 1:40.250 on the East track. that pretty good I think. The only cars faster than the Skyline where Cwest full carbonfiber RHD S2K that is insanely fast, Joe's NSX, Cawford STI and GST Motorsprorts Impreza and they were running best times of 1:35.307 (New Track Recored for Time Attack) The Cwest S2K and the GST Impresza that fast *** 2 door one a 1:36.941. But those are Full sponsor race car. I give the Skyline Made Props

 

That's REAL low 1:40s haha, that's really good, I'm impressed. Wish I could remember what I did in the Evo (with slicks) I think it was a 1:42 but I really don't remember. I am almost positive it was a 1:46ish that I did in the Porsche, the guy that was following me and only losing ground a little teenie bit each lap was running pretty consistent 1:46-1:47s that session.

A totally stock tire/brake/brake fluid car getting that low is very impressive, even if Nissan was smart and put high heat brake fluid in from the factory (which, like, no company ever seems too... I know none of the base Carreras have it).

I bet it coulda done a 1:39 with me driving Low weight FTMFW! Just like Al could shave 1/2 a second off and whomp TurboTrix if I drove his car... I miss the old EvoM jokes, you new guys all suck J/K!

 

Ya it could for sure run in the 1:39's. The S2k was there on Fridays (test and tune day) and I was there too watching them run a 1:33.9?? It was that its was cooler on Friday and very hot on Sat, and Sunday. Everyone was running a bit slower due to Heat. Joe in his NSX can run 1:37 on good days but could only get hight 1:38 low 1:39's so Ya I Bet the Skyline could get 1:39's like Cake
I Need to get one of my Evo's ready for lap Battle this Month and try for Mid 1:4?s that my goal. For a mostly Stock Evo.

 

and ya Jake With Eric or T Driving the Skyline and are small a$$ light weight bodies we would have had the 39"s No Prob. JK Jake you are the only one that I know of that could do it that is are age. I just need more track time and alot of it to get as good as you I dominated at Go-Karts tho. Drifting too No One can touch ME in those Karts.

I'm not THAT good, if I was COBB would have me drive for them, I'd probably be a cheaper driver though . And I love those karts... too bad they're so damn expensive.
