Boost usually isn't enough to lift the head......it's the detonation at those cylinder pressures that does the job. I would run studs for piece of mind.
I got my tables re-scaled btw josh

I ****ing HATE this car, every ****ing thing on it has to be a *****. I was doing the last valve spring, trying to get the keepers in and they wouldn't go, so i put the magnet down there to readjust and there was only one keeper, so i've spent the last 4 ****ing hours trying to find the keeper, how do you get the oil pan of this piece of ****?

Here's all the service goods that someone posted before(chuck?)

http://www.mitsubishiforum.com/m_113321/tm.htm

you think getting the oil pan off is the worse thing man yea pain in the *** but just don't blow up the motor cuz you don't wanna do a swap.

It's supposed to be easier to do when you've got the tranny off the block but you don't wanna do that do you? The oil pan is I believe 10mm all the way around and you might have to release tension of the serp belt and take it off, I think the tensioner pulley might get in the way...**** everything is going to get in the way. I'm not sure if you have to take off the oil cooler lines but you might have too I can't remember what everything looked like when I had my block out.

take off your down pipe and unhook your turbo oil return line into the oil pan too of course. Careful with all your gaskets don't rip anything and make sure you get all the tq specs I think that link above has all the stuff

Hey guys I purchased some red vinyl tail light overlays for my ralliart and they sent me ones for the Evo instead. I paid $25 for everything but I'll let them go for $10. These are red vinyl overlays that change the appearance to the tail light. Many Evo owners buy these and them trim the vinyl to match the Evo 7 lights. Let me know if anyone is interested. Everything is still in the box.
