Jordan, I saw you!
Went to CarMax to check out an S2k for a fellow S2ki-er. Stopped at Mitsu and Subaru first... Mitsu: 4k markup on the GSRs, STILL.... But that's not the half of it... The real kicker... 6.5k markup on the MRs!!! For 6.5k I could pay someone to drive me in their Ferrari down to South Coast and pick one up, tip the guy, the sales person, and pay for all my gas... And still get home with enough money to buy a TBE, tune, and some coilovers
****ING REDICULOUS. Dunno how they're selling cars...
Anyway, Subaru had 50 STis on their lot (more like 10, but still), none were marked up. The sales person and the manager both tried to convince me to trade the Porsche in on one "We'd love to see your car on our lot and you driving away in a new STi". It's nice to see that some dealerships know that our economy is a bit... well... ****ed. I wasn't even interested in it much and they got me the brochure and asked if I wanted to test drive it (shoulda been an *** and done it anyway, but I was in a hurry). Hell, I'm half tempted to go back and see what sort of deal I can weasel out of them. Trade the Porsche for 40k, STi for 30k... I'd owe 3k... Totally go for it.
Anyway. That's my fun story for the night. I also then test drove the AP2 S2k, but that's not much of a news story.

You probably almost saw Jordan too, because Winchester and State was where I saw him... well sooner than that but that's where I stopped and we talked at the light. Were you in your Evo? I'm usually really really good at spotting em (and S2000s)If you're not mixing the two of us up... Thanks! It's stock, but driven the way most people don't...
If you are mixing us up, Jordan's car sounds good too!
^^^
your right but I'm sick of em
Dallin btw I'm not sure if you wanna go to e-85 in the winter from what I know it's not a good cold fuel. Here's some info that I posted for the vegas evo guys
It's a good read..."Ethanol is NOT a cold weather fuel."

Hey I now work in Draper at the point of the mountain and I saw a black Evo lowered on some bronze wheels driving down the freeway by there and it looked really clean. I need to still buff mine and clean the inside
