Utah Evos
I have an silver X in Ogden, purchased late in January From Barber Bros in Orem.
one of the Bros keeps his plane in my hangar at the Ogden Airport so thats the connection. Mine has the SSS and Aero kit. I have added 50 watt HID driving lights next to the fogs. I replaced the false grill on the left side with a purchased right side one modified to be a mirror image.
Our company in Ogden Makes HID for aircraft both aftermarket and to Aircraft OEM's. We also sell to the military on 50 caliber machine guns.

I'll snap some photos and give ya some tips after I get it done if you want
Here's something to get ya going

Can't wait to get the cams and get them in. Was gonna start playing with the ECU based boost control, but guess I'll put that off until I get the cams in since I'll have to redo most of the tune anyway.
Cool, thanks. Any tips/tricks you run into while doing it would be appreciated.

I'll let you know any tips/tricks I run into and I've gotta put my vinshu cam gears on the new motor as well hope you got 272's makes for a nice lop lop lop
and hey if you get ecu based boost control going on let me know how that works out for ya
yep Phoenix and I was wondering the same thing...**** I guess I could move up there and start cramming away like a son of a ***** and get my hands on some more software and start with my car
On a serious note though I've been thinking about possibly coming back to slc and I wouldn't mind doing more tuning with my own vehicle I'm just short some of the tools n experience

The best way to learn is jump in head first & do it. It sure isn't rocket science...don't let anybody bullsh!t you
There is also going to be MAJOR release of ecuflash soon!
That's why I got an AEM. It just makes things that much easier. Menu's are easier to use and custom functions are easy to make. The tuning is all the same no matter what software or hardware you have. The fundamentals are all in the fuel and timing maps. Those are universal. It's the details (like A/C, alky injection, boost control, etc.)that can be tricky from one unit to another. That's what we are trying to figure out now with the ECU Flash Software.
I'm thinking about going on sunday.
I'm hoping it has a nice lope to it, though my exhaust is pretty quiet (bought it for just that reason
) My friggin intake is louder than my exhaust by a lot
I'll let you know how the boost control goes. I've done some logs with the JDM 3 bar, and I'm actually fairly impressed with the current boost curve. I thought it would be a lot worse than it is, but definately has some room to play.
I got some of my parts in today
:
ACT streetlite flwheel
ACT heavy duty pressure plate
ACT 6 puck sprung disc
Snow Performance stage 2 meth kit
Brian Crower valve springs w/ti retainers
ARP head studs
Just waiting on Cosworth 272 cams.

Yup, 272's, the HKS ones. Found some for a really really good deal, though in the future I'm thinking I might go with the Kelford 272s with some new springs/retainers. So much for keeping this car stock... lol (guess I gave that up a while ago though)
