Make sure you bleed the lifters. If you don't, the car will tick no matter how long you let it idle.

What exactly are you trying to figure out on ecuflash?

I'm thinking about going on sunday.

It's just new software for us. We wouldn't feel comfortable charging people for a tune unless we felt comfortable with the software. I just don't think that would be fair to the person needing the tune. We are very familiar with the AEM software but haven't used ECUFlash at all yet. We are going to be playing with it over the next week or 2. Like you said, tuning isn't rocket science but it's surprising how many "Professional" tuners don't do it right.
