i use bg II and it works wonders.... i had the 5th gear synchro grind switched to bg & holla it was gone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on the dealership, Ken Garff and Mike Riddell used to use a GL-5 grade Mitsu oil in both the trans, and transfer case. The shop manual asks specifically for GL-4 for the trans, and a GL-5 for the transfer case. I don't know if they've fixed this or not. A GL-5 is abrasive enough it could cause premature where on the synchronizers in the trans.

But first before doing any motor work get your suspension done. If you can afford to I suggest the coilovers I got there like a dream come true and do rear sway bar n endlinks if you can seems to me the rear end is tightned up
