Jake I still have my Defi, it is currently mounted in my dash since I could not come up with another gauge to replace it with. Don't you have a boost gauge? I have a VDO that you can have for cheap if you just need something right away. I would be willing to part with the Defi as soon as I get my Zeitronix back .

Anybody want to trade a K&N filter and adapter for their stock airbox or sell me their stock airbox?

I do, but after the car has been at Utah Imports for misc. things, they have decided that it is likely just my gauge has gone toasty (since it was already broken) and that's why it appears like I have a boost leak... So hopefully that really is the problem, what size is the Defi? And what do you think the time frame is? I'd rather just get a nice one this time, instead of going for what's cheap...

Sure trade is fine, I'll find someone local who could use the K & N filter, I've already got a intake and the stock airbox is just going to collect so much dust its going to be solid gray

I'm thinking about some cams for my next mod. What would you guys recommend with my setup now? Or I might go with some styling goodies, I just got new tires for the stocks I'm thinking about powdercoating them white or black

The Defi is a 52 mm and is the amber d-series that matches our interior. I could probably pull it out next weekend even if my Zeitronix is not back since with my bad clutch I really am not boosting very much anyway.

Whatever jeremy, I don't mind waiting, it's just the next step in figuring out what is wrong, because if I get it and it still reads low boost then something else is wrong, but I should get a new gauge anyway since this cheap autometer one has been broken from the beginning. Let me know, and let me know how much you're willing to part with it for as well.

Nice thing is this gauge does not need the controller. D-gauge amber.

For testing you could just get a cheap $10 pressure gauge from harbor freight, or borrow one. See what your boost is doing, then at least you'd know.

Or you could just log it and see if the airflow rating is in the correct ballpark.

He wasn't race car crazy yet... That's easy to answer Ficker, you answered it yourself. It has been statistically proven that in being race car crazy you automatically shave 3 seconds off your time, as well as adding at least 20 whp. And that's without gaining any extra skillz.

I'd rather just do what needs to be done, rather than do it easy again this time, but thanks for the tips.

I did go a little race car crazy ...

Gutting the car and getting rid of nearly 300 lbs made the car a lot more fun to drive! I'm looking forward to getting my butt kicked by the Evos in the MPRA series. I need to somehow find another 10 to 12 sec per lap to keep up with them.
