Utah Evos
Hello all. I am a Noob. I don't have an evo, but I just bought a 04 Ralliart, and I live in Salt Lake. Wanted an Evo but in my stage of life, I can't quite justify buying one yet. My Ralliart is fun enough for now. I was wondering if there was a Lancer Club here in Utah? Oh and hopefully I meet some of you out at Millers new track in Tooele. My Dad works out there and is building an BMW E30 M3 racecar. I am out there all the time during the summer at most of the events. I read earlier some of the guys track their cars out there so I hope to see you there.

Winter projects are coming along ...

My Dad's name is Mark Hansen. He had his M3 at a couple of lapping days but he is still in the process of modifying it. He is still trying to decide which class he wants to enter and that will decide what he will do to his car. He is out at the track all the time during the summer. Sometimes he work start/finish other times he will be out on the corners. He is trying to get qualified as a race instructor out there. Well if anyone ever does want to meet or do a weekend drive, I am down. By the way do any of you know Vesco? He is a tuner here in Salt Lake. He used to build BMW's but now mods Evo's. He has two Evos he is building to race. Both are black and say Torq on the side. They are awesome if anyone wants to check them out. Also he builds amazing custom roll cages if anyone is interested.

He setup my suspension and I'd have to say its just perfect as it could possibly be.
I purchased a clutch and couldn't ever get time with him to get it installed so I sold it. I will purchase a clutch again and have him do the install if I can squeeze time in with him
I would love to know if (depending on safety rules) a cage could be done allowing passengers in the EVO?
BTW MSM I enjoy my laziness, its allowed me to complete some education.
. Pay before play, right?

Yeah, went and talked to Vesko a couple weeks ago. He is swamped with business, but I guess that is do to the fact he does great work. He might design a roll cage for my Dad's M3, if he can find the time.
