Utah Evos
2,200 mile drive home and back and the only Evo I see is a yellow one heading into Moab on 21st. Get to Provo wash the car, before I could go to rinse I was spaying ice off the car. 16 degrees...love it. I hate the warm temps of the coastal ranges.
There were two guys in that STi, and what makes me think that it was you guys is that after i passed him, I looked in the rearview and they started kissing.

So does anyone know the White STi (probably 2005) with big blue cobb stickers on the front fenders? Sounded like he had an HKS bov.
Anyway I was on state street on my way to a family party in AF and this dude was all revving and crap. He looked like he was 16, and my wife says, why don't you just race him?
Now usually i have a strict non-stre et rac ing policy, but i had to defend my honor, like a samurai. Now this isn't a ki ll story, so i'll spare you the details, but it only took about half of third gear. Anyway, just wondering who this n00b is and why he's all about revving and whatnot.

Not new to the forum, but I've never posted before. I've been checking it out for a couple of years. Part of the reason I finally registered is I made a "Gingerbread EVO" while my wife and boys made Gingerbread houses during our Christmas break, and I wanted to post pictures of it. 
ha ha I've got a coworker who owns a Mini Cooper S and who used to autocross a 911 back in the early 70's and I keep telling him we need to go test drive an EVO. Anyway, I don't even own an EVO. I drive a '94 Mustang GT for now. I have driven in and driven a couple of WRX's. I basically talked my dad into getting his '03 WRX. He put a Cobb Stg2 flash in and welded up his own down and up pipe's with his mig welder. It's a pretty quick car, but doesn't make the same power as a stock EVO. I've sat in a couple of EVO's since they came out in 2003. I've been drooling ever since. I live in Farmington and thought I'd post in this thread.
Anyway, don't mind my long post. I'm just a ginormous car freak, and the EVO is my favorite one.

hey where is the best place to get parts installed, i think i am going to overhaul my evo in the next few months... turbo intercooler cams ect... so where would be the best most reasonably most reliable place to get this stuff installed here in salt lake city. plus is there anyone who can tune our cars other than cobb in salt lake city?
