Its easy to put in a radio and speakers, and I didn't want the normal IX (steel roof), so my next option was an MR at $32k, so i went with the RS. I also like the black mirrors and door handles.

Anyway, i really like mine, you just have to ask yourself if you can live without a few creature comforts.

I got mine at Southcoast in CA for 26,999. Correct, none of those things. But the positives are: aluminum roof (only MR and RS), alum fenders, hood, door beams. 150ish pounds lighter than the MR. Thats like 1.5 of my wife!

Also, 300 whp can be had with only a full exhaust, a boost controller, and a little custom flash (cheap if you live within reach of me and my super tactrix cable, lol).

I love my RS too, I picked mine up for 25,999 + all that damn tax in July. I need to get mine dyno tuned soon, I'm just custom flashed right now. And I've got a clutch just can't afford to put it in right now

Ooo I like how the RS comes with this shift knob

This is another plus about the RS... No WING

Umm What I love most about my evo

^^^^ Nice car... zach I have not been back to the dyno yet. I am waiting on an intake manifold and I need to re do my intercooler piping, I am hoping for at least 650whp. You should pm me your number and I could give you a call when I tune and you could stop by if you want, it wont be for a few months though

I love my RS and all, but driving in the snow on stock advans and having no ABS isnt very fun... Well the advans arnt to bad as long as you go slow, but the no ABS thing and locking them up is another story.

Yea I can only imagine, My advan's were beat and it felt bad when the roads were alittle wet or dry. I ended up buying the kumho escta spt's if you look back a couple pages everyone here gave really good advice on what tires to purchase and whats good in snow etc.. etc...

Driving Advans in the cold is crazy. The rubber is almost solid when it is cold and they have almost no grip. I would suggest getting some new tires before you wreck your Evo.

I'm not worried, I only drive to work and home. I know I can drive fine on them. Its the other drivers I worry about. Stupid ppl that drive like its dry out.

To each his own, I guess. Just realize that the advans even in the dry (when it is cold out) will have much less grip then normal. There is a reason Mitsu puts that sticker on the door of new Evo's.
