I was gonna buy that kit for the silver evo but they weren't ready yet. They told me the they had all the parts ready to ship but they were waiting for some more patents to be approved (or some bs like that). I couldn't wait that long... but now looking at it and knowing i can squeeze 10 wides under the car anyway, i really don't care for it. Plus there is no way i am chopping up a new car!

If the APR is pretty sturdy (anyone verify this?) I prolly go with that one. No one up here in Idaho has that one that I'm aware of. Any of you guys run that body kit?

No Evos I know about, besides yours Ty, have any body kits on them in ID. Matter of fact, there are not that many Evo's in ID so I am not sure who you are trying not to look like.

Haha good point! I'm just bummed that the kit bust. She just got out of the shop the day before, air flow control installed and functioning great, tuned to perfection and bammo! the kit cracks in a million places...not a good day!

keep in mind any kind of bodykit made out of fiberglass (i don't care what kind and how many layers) are gonna be a lot more fragile than anything made out of urethane (like oe bumpers and skirts). Fiberglass i believe is cheaper to mold and also is lighter. On the plus side though, fiberglass is easier to repair. If you don't plan on hitting anything, (i do cause i autox) try to find out how many layers the kit you like is made with. The thicker, the stronger. I believe there is also some type of fiberglass that some manfacturers use some form of rubber in it. Can't remember the name tho. It's claimed to be stronger than fiberglass without. Your best bet imo is urethane (for strength). Not sure if these companies still use urethane but Veilside did and so did Kamanari (sp?). Not sure if you like their styles tho. But remember a lot of aftermarket urethane kits tend to warp in the sun, especially if it's black. I would do some homework (endless seaches over the internet) before you make any decision... oh onemore thing, urethane can be a b1tch to paint (can be very porous).

Thanks for the advice. I'll do my homework and let you guys know what I decided on towards the end of next week.

Until then, let me know if you guys know anyone wanting to buy a TurboXS for $500.
