I just put on the Hawk HPS last weekend and I'm taking it to the track on Saturday. So far just driving around town I like them. BTW, don't listen to anyone on the forums that say a certain brake pad sucks because it squeaks, that just means they didn't install them right. Mine don't make a peep. Just put brake grease on EVERYTHING metal (making sure not to get any on the pad or rotor). Other than that is was the easiest brake job I've ever done.

It must have been your friend if you don't have that much camber. I never saw the driver, I was behind the whole time but it looked like your new 8, just with a TON of negative camber all around.

PS - Changing the serpentine belt on the Evo sucks *****!!!!

He's totally right, but F taking the effort to grease all that metal (there's a **** load) just be a man and grow a pair and deal with the noise... Then flip people off who make fun of you.

Yea it is hot down here **** yesterday was 103° but hey yo the lake on the weekends FTW

It didn't take long. Grease on the back of the pad, grease on the shim. grease the sides of the pad, grease the spring, grease the pins, done. No squeal.
