I ran a new Shelby GT500 last night... I had 3 people including me vs. him and his passenger. Thought I would have gotten my **** handed to me but I beat him but a good car length and half from 50-140. We pulled over and talked, turns out he was only 19, he was so surprise that we beat him. His passenger thought we would have been an easy kill.

Only thing that sucked was I blow out a dip stick and got oil sprayed everywhere. Time to detail the engine bay.

Haha nicely done. That's like Wes' Lambo story. Taking a GT500 in a straight line (assuming the kid doesn't drive like me) is no easy task I'm sure.

Moral of the story though: I bet the kid's GT500 didn't have any problems afterwards

I was on my way home today from Draper and had a guy in a Black Evo 8 with some wheels on it drive by and wave its nice to see nice people like that. Was that anyone on here? I think they live in the Lehi / Alpine are he got off at the Thanksgiving point exit. Car was Clean and mine is very dirty getting cleaned tomorrow tho

aaah **** the mustang I had a couple ppl in the car when I did that with the gallardo but he wouldn't pull over and chat. Gt500 is 550 crank hp I believe so who knows what whp that is? Pretty much say a 400whp awd needs a 500+whp rwd for you to have some really good competition like my friend and his 511whp evo won't race anything unless its got 500-600whp rwd because he feels it's a waste of his time

Take a zip tie and zip your dipstick down it's a quick/cheap way of preventing that vs buying that **** from buschur

yep 400whp and up in a evo it's all about breaking **** from time to time
