IIRC it's around 11psi.

 

Chuck: My boost solenoid failed on the Evo. I hit 11 to 14 psi depending on the weather.

 

depending on if you tightened it or not 11-14lbs I've had friends who there's pulled off 14-17lbs now ?? maybe even a gauge off ? When mines running wastegate(failsafe or methkit off) it runs 1bar

 

Hey Wes my friend got my car tuned and running good now Now I just need to get on the Dyno and get some good FINE TUNING done so I can get more power and a lot more TQ!!! I also need to get my double pumper made and order some 1200 cc injectors and run the E85. Then I will get some really good power and tq. outa her
Oh and there will be a good size meet and cruise tomorrow evening in the Orem/Provo are if any one would like to meet up.

Anyone know what the best spark plug for an evo with a flickerflash is? I don't know when to replace them but I have 50k now. I know the bpr7es and BPR7EIX are used by a lot of ppl, I just wanted to make sure.

 

New owner of an Evo X checking in, but I'm in Pocatello. Any references for the best tuning shops in SLC? I used to go to Streamline industries when I had the Audi, but have no idea where to start for the evo.

Hey nsomniac, welcome. That's quite the drive for tuning your Audi. There are a lot of good choices here. COBB, of course. Competition Associates. Soild Autoworks. And Turbo Labs. Rallysport Direct is also down here, but I'm not sure how much they work on cars.

 

Cobb sucks for evos. I like the guys at solid. Rallysport has every subaru part yiu can imagine, but it'll take a week or two to get Evo parts.

 

Oh yeah, and Eric likes to *****, a lot. And he'd know too, he's got loads of mods on his Evo, it's wicked fast

 

Hey is there any one on here that has or knows some one or where I can get a stock Evo 8 ECU? I need to get my car to pass the emissions test and I will need stock ECU and a cat (I can make a cat) or I need to register the car out of Utah county. any one???

I'm an Evo owner through and through. I just hate Mitsubishi and the **** they make. So I bought a non-turbo luxury model Evo, from a company that doesn't build things out of leftover playschool bits.

It is really funny, a lot of us left for other cars, or at least sold the Evo. And I'm the only one still posting.
