Yeah, some times you just don't even need to respond when they have something like that to say.

Haha well part of there 20k and up kits are different Motor builds too so not just a Turbo kit

That is a pretty good deal and I think you can send the Turbo in to FP and I think $500-$600 later its a HTA

If you don't know about this stuff, than of course it is going to be gibberish at first

I didn't say it was gibberish I said it didn't make sense, he told me that there was a wire disconnected from my wastegate, found the wire but don't see a connection on wastegate for it, then he said the reason I'm not pushing over 7 lbs of boost is cuz my vacuum line is connected at the top of my wastegate and it needs to be moved to the side where my screw is. Don't make sense cuz the inlet for the screw is half inch and the line is like an eighth inch. Just wanted to make sure they knew what they were doing cuz I just got my lifters yesterday and I was gonna have them install

Here is the email I sent to the state senators.... On issue (SB 106)

Dear Senator,

I'm writing to you, in regards of S.B. 106, asking for your opposition against this bill for many reasons. Under this bill it would make it difficult for hobbyists and any motor vehicle enthusiast to replace the exhaust that comes on the car from the factory with a better performing, more efficient, and longer lasting exhaust system. Whether it be a motorcycle, truck, car, or any other vehicle on Utah roads. This bill also does not consider that after market exhaust systems allow an increase in performance that can make a vehicle much safer from an improved ability to pass, travel up hill, as well as merging, as well as making the vehicle more reliable. The proposed bill (S.B. 106) also does not define any clear standard for law enforcement to base their judgments on, which will be requiring them to make subjective decisions if a modified exhaust system is in violation of the bill or not. Finally this bill ignores proven facts that aftermarket exhaust systems are designed to allow vehicles equipped with them to run with increased efficiency without an increase in emissions by allowing the vehicle to “breathe” better than from the factory, as well as an increase in fuel economy. In regards to this bill, I strongly ask that you please oppose this bill.
The only questions that I do have are this. Seeing as how everything that we do or accomplish in life, personal or professional, we do it to be better off. So I ask you, where are the benefits of the proposed bill, (S.B. 106)? If the said bill does pass, how are we better off? And if the proposed bill does pass, how can it be enforced to vehicles that currently have an aftermarket exhaust system already on the vehicle? Wouldn’t the vehicles that already have the aftermarket systems be exempt due to “ex post facto”?
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely, Weston P. Gardner
