Start charging for

So from simple email correspondence Subaru says they should be able to do a better deal on a new car with my trade-in than Mitsubishi even can on a X. So I'm probably gonna go in later and let them appraise the Porsche and see for sure what the final results will be. If I can keep payments around 350/month for 60 months then it'll be worth it to me. The Porsche is getting close to 60k miles... And I don't know how much longer it'll last, and if something huge breaks, it's gonna suck, a lot. A new car will have less chance of that happening, and a warranty. Plus the Suby would get slightly better gas mileage and regular maintenance (including tires, which I need new ones on the Porsche soon anyway) would be cheaper too.

Regardless, if it works out as good (or better) as the Subaru dealer said they can do. And the folks approve of it (I am on their insurance and living under their roof after all). I will probably wind up with an '09 STi by the end of the week.

South Coast Mits is selling brand new X's for less than an 05 VIII with 66k miles. That is stupid to keep the price of the old ones so damn high.

03 VIII w/AMS 2.3L & GT35R Too bad I am not getting my bonus in the next couple months

Oh, if anyone knows of anyone that is looking for a wing off an VIII let me know. Obviously i still cant post in the FS section unless I go ***** myself

It has nothing to do with South Coast and everything to do with Mits. South Coast can only sell used cars for what they can sell em for. Mits is offering (and has been for awhile now) insane incentives to dealers to help move the cars off the lots... And for good reason, they aren't even bringing the '10s here because they didn't sell enough '08s and '09s... That's a BIG deal. I mean... Riverton Mitsubishi has 14 on their lot! 14 Evos, in one lot! That's insane. That's just about half of the number of Lancers they have 4 MRs and 10 GSRs. All the Subaru dealers have maybe 3-5 STis at most.

If it weren't for past experience, the looks alone wouldn't be enough for me to spend more on the STi than the X... Unfortunately I like a bit of warranty with my new car

That 05 is fairly new to their lot. I know that Mits is offering a ton of incentives to move the brand new ones, I was just refering to the price of the 05. Crappy economy + 4 years old and 66k, I would think that they would lower the prices on the older ones a bit too. That is more money than Midway innitially told me on mine that I bought with 20k miles on it.

I agree. I dont really mind the front of the X anymore, but I still cannot stand the rear end. For the money though, I would walk up to Dallin with cash and ask him if he wanted a ride home in my new Voltex Evo

He knows I would have picked it up if I could. Damn I love that car.

with all the deals you've been talking about you might as well go for it, **** it's tempting for everyone to do it including myself. I just came out of mediation yesterday horribly dissapointed but I think it worked out ok vs waiting another 2yrs for a trial to risk who knows what, also going up agaisnt a st george dumb **** jury. o yea and seeing the insurance companies doctors for all that time with having the insurance company have ppl watch me. A guy last week had a 600k offer 2yrs ago went to court and walked away with 0...that guys in a ****ing wheelchair. So its like stg's last **** you to me I'm still pissed off, what kind of threat is it to file a lawsuite agaisnt them when they would love to put off something for 2 more yrs then try to push some liability on me. At least I got some closure..well its over with and I've been feeling pretty good latley

haha thanks man Ya maybe if i dont have it sold soon then you can buy it lol. If I sell my BMW Soon then I will be totally redoing this car so it probably wont be running this summer , But will see. I am thinking about doing a 2.3 block and rebuilding the Head. I may just send it off to Buschur for stage 3 block and head. I was looking on there site the other day because of Eric and didn't realize how good there pricing is on building the bock and head So I may just go that rout since the have built a lot of these motors and I have only helped out on 1
