i've had pipe dreams of buying a GC 2.5rs, doing a STI swap and racing it in the big bore class. fun cars. ya i'll be there this weekend. the wife is gonna do some driving. were going to start her off easy. no race cars this weekend. just the daily. see you there hopefully.

the estimate is at 14,500 prior to pulling my trans and transfer case to check them, he also said when he turns the car off it stays running as if i had a turbo timer, but i dont. so they need to check those 3 things and the $ amount they need to reeach is 16,500

Yeah, it sucks that's usually the case, thank god my "wreck" wasn't bad enough to have any hassles involved.
Eric, did you make them get you a rental car? Make sure you do that, with your age, that'll up the price at least 1000. (it cost them ~800 for a rental car for me while my car was in the shop).
