this car isn't even running. I know someone who works at the shop and its POS. It has been in a front end collision that has destroyed the front diff and it needs a new clutch already. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Not a big fan of that dealer They wouldn't let me test drive an 8 they had there when i was lookin for my evo. the guy was telling me it was in great condition. what a f***'n liar i could see a huge crack in the exhaust manifold, then when i mentioned it to him he said that i was wrong "thats the intake manifold"

 

Ya, evo's are a hot item out here so they can get away with giving quite the shaft to people. Buy em from california for 18, sell em for 10 more out here. Not a bad idea but damn...
That RS with the low mileage is a pretty sad story just because the low mileage would be REALLY tempting. The shop doesnt want to invest anything in its repairs though, so basically 21 for the evo, 2-3 K for the diff, 1-2K clutch replacement, AND no warranty because its been in an accident. If this isnt going to be exclusively a project car I'd have to warn all to pass.

 

WTF?! What a ****in clown! I would've asked him how retarded he really was?! Oh so it must've been one of those limited edition evo's with the turbo bolted right to the intake manifold!!! I would've pointed at the air filter and said, "let me guess, this is the muffler then?!" What a douche bag car dealer!!! There is an Escalade that drives around that has a big vinyl decal on the back and side widows that says "Ken Garff Lies!!!" It's so awesome! They must've dicked him pretty good!

 

That's awesome I wanna see that Escalade, now I don't feel so bad if I drive up and kick the **** out of one of the Xs in Ogden if they're still letting people test drive.

I had a dealer WAY back (Early '04) tell me that they were twin turbos

Ken Garff was the one that voided my famous warranty.... Good times...

 

I've seen that escalade. I understand getting upset with a dealer but damn, I don't like using my car as a soapbox...whatever floats their boat though. Garff has been known to stomp on a ball or two.

 

he wouldn't let me pop the hood either after i said that, i could see the crack through the vent in the hood. So who knows what else was wrong with it? Other than him i've had good experiences with car salesman. one time i just walked into one of those lots they have at the malls sometimes and i was looking at evos and the guy just basically handed me the keys, i didn't even ask to drive it, then during the test drive i didn't want to push it too hard but he kept tellin me to drive it hard.... and well i couldn't resist
