I love sales people... I dealt with SOOO many when I was looking around through last spring/summer... The best was the guy at Acura when looking at a TL-S who told me "Oh, you can go ahead and go past that semi, I trust you, you've been racing for 5 years" Needless to say, he wasn't expecting me to go past the semi at 90 around the corner... "Push it as hard as you want," last spoken words from the kid at BMW Pleasant Grove until we were back on solid ground at the dealer...

Even the guy at Jeep was surprised at how hard I drove the Wrangler "You are the first person to drive it like that and take it all zee way to da redline" The two private sellers with Porsches were surprised I could drive their cars faster than they dared, and the two dealers let me take the Porsches out on my own. I still kinda wish I had bought the guy's '02 C4 convertible, but I hadn't sold my Evo, and he sold it that weekend

Hey thanks Josh. I appreciate it. I like your car too. You and your buddy are welcome to hang out anytime. I need the tune pretty bad! ARGH!!! I'm trying to decide once I go back to work if I should get the tune, or just tough it out another couple weeks and get the water/methanol injection and then get the tune. With a good tune with that I'll be capable of being upwards of 400 to 410 whp!!!

 

Thats a hard decision i guess the next thing on my list is gauges, they are expensive

 

oh and by the way my car isn't near as nice as yours. I love the blue and the canards

 

I have glow-shift gauges. Cheap, but effective. If you don't want or have the money to blow, and you can change the color between 7 different colors. I like the Defi Blue Racer gauges, but I don't have the couple hundred per gauge to spend. Other stuff I'd rather buy for the car, with that money. Maybe one day.

 

Here's a couple of pics of the gauges. I have the three on the pillar. Soon I'll relocate the stereo down to the cubby below the hvac control, and put three more in the old stereo spot. They're tinted so when they're off, they're dark. I think they look pretty good.
