$1000 = great alarm = safe Evo, I can sit in class and still my remote can talk with my car out in the garage.

I have an RS man I don't have pwr locks/windows/mirrors etc.. I don't know how alarms work on my car maybe one day I'll check into it

 

So is this saying that the officer will only advise me its missing if I get pulled over and he/she looks or is this what the a shop will tell me.

I want to know what will happen if I were to be pulled over for my exhaust being that I'm from out of state in the situation.

 

You don't have alarms, no Evo (till maybe the X) did unless it was aftermarket. No reason to get one unless you're cheap on insurance, or your insurance gives you a discount. When that guy broke into mine my insurance replaced basically everything I told them he touched.

 

ya I prob went a little over the top on my alarm but you could get one with the proximity sensor and you can set it up so people get with in a few feet and it beeps or you can set it up so they get within 10 feet and it beeps. Hood pin in great also. They add door locks most of the time to cars like yours when you get an alarm.

 

I guess this would be true. But I'd bet they'd go after the type S cause it has the K20z1 vs my old base rsx that had the k20a3 (fuel efficient model).

 

Juan, we could set you're Valet mode so the car wont start, of course that wont stop a tow truck.

Get one of those steering wheel lock bars LOL I bet those scare people really badly. LOL, Still does nothing for the car parts though.

 

Right now it's set at 3500 RPM.....I would set it at 0 RPM so it wont start.

 

Wait so can you set up a Valet mode on the stock ECU? If so how?
