My car had Kuhmo ASX's when I bought and it still had a good amount of tred left. They lasted me about 15k before I replaced them with a set of Falken Ziex.

I have mixed feelings about the Kuhmo's. They were crappy in the snow, mainly due to medium tread that was left and bad in the rain.....I blame them for the little accident I had with a stupid fence that got in my way Jake, I think you know what I'm talkin about.

Also, we put the same tire on the Type S last october and the tread seems to be wearing quite quickly with only about 6-8k miles. They're a newer model than what I had on the Evo though.

I hope my Ziex do well in the snow as I plan to use these as my winter set if I ever get wheels.

i had kumho asx's and they were loud. Im happy with my azenis right now but i think im gonna get dunlop star specs or kumho AS next..

 

Don't remind me....at least I was able to get my ETS IC out of it and some cash. Good times...

 

Yep I started work today ugh I was going to go down to Adams and of course I've had all this free time then I plan something and I start my first day at work haha


I had the kuhmo spt and the yoko advan s4 tires on my 17" stocks and 17" work wheels both were great all season tires with decent grip on em

 

hey guys im a newbie i got a silver evo8 with the mb motoring wheels that are kinda like a teel color, you might have seen me drivin around. i dont really know anyone with evos so im tryin to find some evo meets so i can meet some new people with evos

Registration for the June 26th Friday Night Laps event in now open!

June 26th, Friday Night Laps

The Friday Night Laps events are new to the Lap Battle series for 2009. They are TIMED, and should be used to hone driver's skill and help recruit new competitors to Lap Battle. There will be a few select driving instructors available to either ride along and give pointers or to drive your car while you ride shotgun to show you how it is done. We'll also have an instructor out there to give people FREE ride alongs. So if you know anyone that wants to see what it's like racing around MMP let them know!

As always, passengers are NOT allowed, but spectator entry to the track will be free!

We are dropping the entry fee as low as possible, down to $125! For that drivers will get 4 sessions on track, each session lasting at least 20 minutes. Registration closes at 5:30 pm and the first session will start at 6:00 pm and go to about 9:00pm. If you can't make it out by 5:30, email me and we can make arrangements.
