How come there are never any street EVOs running out at MMP anymore?

 

I thought you had the same Nexxen's I did? The N3000s are harly all seasons, they are no seasons.

I sold mine? I was often the only one out there. Every once in awhile there'd be another one that was fairly common (GG, doesn't post on this thread, I think he comes on EvoM just when he needs stuff, can't remember his name, been forever, good guy though) and then the few others that would come out once or twice, and most of them got rid of their Evos.

It's a shame, there's plenty of Evos around town that would be great on that track. Put a spoiler and some decent tires on Wes' car and it'd be tons of fun.

Haha ya my 275 nexxen tires did nothing bust spin off the line in 1st gear and part of 2nd that was one thing I was pretty good at in my car was launching that thing hard off the line I need to work more on the no lift shifting tho and my trans wasn't the smoothest shifting through fears fast I want to get it rebuilt if I can it would be nice if it shifted a lot smother

I want to get out, but need to get my car running first. Then the next issue is having any money to buy tires and paying for track days

300?!?! For what? Maybe the POS Open Track days that Miller runs... I'd never pay a dime over 200 for a track day. Friday Night Laps are only 125, PDX and Lap Battle are both only 150 and PCA are usually 165-195.

It would be a pretty mean Lap Battle car by now. I've got way more priorities before buying any sort of dedicated track/autox car though. If I have the money to have this car and one other cheaper car like that, I'd get an S2000 as a weekend/fun car before I'd buy a dedicated track machine.

Nope, nothing is needed for Friday Night Laps. I'll let Biggie be the final word, but I wouldn't do Lap Battle for your first time. Do an FNL or PDX or at least a few WoW where an instructor can be with you or it is safer on track...

After this oil change I'll probably make an appointment at Solid to get my brake fluid changed, and then I may come out.... With work still not letting me go full time, money is the main problem right now.

 

I'm running a $125 Test & Tune on Sunday, 4 twenty minute sessions same as a PDX, we'll have a couple instructors and no TORDE needed. I really can't charge any less than that.

What race tires does everyone need? I have some new and used DOTs in 235/40-17s, 275/35-18, 285/30-18s and some slicks in 240/640-18 and 280/650-18.
