They quoted you $500.00? I wonder if that's total including parts or if that's with your own supplied parts.

I just need to get my 60k done, with a budget So that means skipping some of the un-needed stuff without any problems.

so last night was pretty crapy night i was driving my car and i noticed i had a small exhaust leak i didnt think much of it since it was really small and didnt seem to bother the performance of the car well i got on it last night before i got home and i noticed something was wrong well i found the leak this morning and its is coming from the gasket that goes in between the manifold and the turbo. damn i never knew how big of performance loss i have from this leak. **ity thing is thats a long process to replace that gasket

with your mess you got it will be a long process Not too bad to replace but I've never heard anyone having problems with stock gasket between block/e.manifold. **** Dan on his drag car used the same one for a couple motors/turbo setups. I've used the same one from motor1 on motor2 and this is the 4th turbo I've used on that gasket. Oem ported manifold FTW

mine isnt the stock gasket

There aren't too many things you can skimp out on, maybe just the two pulley's but everything else I would definitely get replaced. I need to do this ASAP but I'm so damn broke right now, after my racing ticket and a 2 week furlough at my work. I'm scrapping for cash right now.

I'm gonna call them back to make sure that was the actual price for labor.

no its the gasket the goes in between the turbo and the manifold not the manifold and the block
