Just changed mine this week to Royal Purple... Seems to be idling smoother now too.

btw, do you guys burn through oil often? I haven't driven the car hard at all since buying it last month, my bro-in-law (previous owner) didn't either.... I did notice some oil behind the motor where the filter is but not too much. The head had a little on it that I wiped off when I got it so cant be the valve cover gasket. Not sure why but I was about a quart low when I changed it.

Oh yeah, found out my o2 housing is atmospheric dump too

 

Sounds like you may have a leak. I know I dont burn oil like that, you'll have to just keep a eye on it

Nope, was it rocking UtahEvos stickers? Maybe someone was joy riding my car that I didn't know about but I wouldn't be up in Layton for any reason.

Plus if I noticed an Evo I'd usually slow down and move over. Yield to faster traffic, ya know? Haha, but really I'd slow down and move over to wave or something.if I recognized it as an Evo.

Speaking of which I glanced over at what I think was a wingless X (grey, dark or silver, it was dirty) today on the way to work. Was across a few lanes of traffic so I didn't bother waving. Other than the dirty, the car was good lookin.

 

lol his audi is either for sale one day or he's gonna keep it one day or trading it in for an evo the next day... he mounted the stock intercooler in the engine bay and now its an interheater it gets way hot i put my hand on it after driving like 10 mins and it was like as hot as the block.. but he's gonna try to put a scoop in his hood so it gets some air.. damn i think i'm gonna go buy one of those intercoolers now if you say its that good.

I got my self up and I am usually up aroudn 6 am every morning . I have to be to school by 7 am every day Just got up 45 min earlier today to make it in line for the free Grand slam It was good too Did anyone else take advantage of the Free Breakfast ???

 

yeah bro the car seems to have alittle more lag down low, but when the boost hits... it hits hard! i am getting my turbo mani port and polished, so by the time that is done and i get my new tune..hopefully lag won't be as much of an issue. i have noticed a nice difference with the new intercooler, compared to the stock one even though im not tuned yet.

 

ive been using royal purple in my car for the last 2 years! it is fantastic stuff and the car runs so much smoother just like you said. after about the third oil change with it when i started using it, i notice a difference with the performance of the car. it just felt stronger to me. i have never burned oil though. you might have a leak like bobby said. just keep an eye on it bro. by the way for those of you who are about to do an oil change. checker auto is having a special right now. 5 qts of royal purple oil and a k&n oil filter for $39.99. the special is going on till feb 22nd i believe. don't pass it up gentlemen.
