looks great, I say go as dark as is legal in Salt Lake, that's what my friend has on his black WRX, and it looks perfect

 

any idea what legal is?? I got two tickets for 5% so I know that isn't legal!!!

 

I think back can be as dark as you want it, but I"m not sure on the fronts

 

I think this tint is perfect, as are the wheels!!

That car doesn't even look tinted.

Rob if you remember my tint it is as dark as legally posible. Nicks is 20% all the way around. I will try and find a pic of the tint for you.

I have 50 on the front and 35 on the rest, that is what is legal. Let me find a pic for ya.

I am not sure where you guys are getting your numbers from but being pulled over many times and almost getting a tint ticket on my wrx. The laws states the front side windows can be 43% COMBINED that means if you have tint on your car when you got it and they put another layer of film over it it cannot exceed more then 43% the rear you can go as dark as you want. 5% is the darkest film they make but you can do 5% + 5% + 5%... etc.. It doesn't matter.

P.S. 19s are ghetto if dark tint is ghetto. I am proud to be reppin 17s!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

I got my numbers from every tint place I went to that stated you can do 50% in the front and no darker than 35% in the back. So I guess they were all making up the numbers unless the law has changed recently, but I can't say I am an expert on the tint laws

 

tint laws here are constantly changing. last i heard was the rear can be as dark as you want and the front is 50%.

ben, i use to love limo tint but now i just think it looks ghetto. btw youre just jealous my stock wheels are one inch bigger than yours.

 

Well if you got your tint done before 2002 i guess you are right i looked it up. This site is very informitive.
