Utah Evos
Ben this manifold better put down some numbers, beacause it seems that all tubular manifolds for the evo and stock turbo don't really do a whole lot.
Are you still going with 280's? I have heard of people losing power with them on the stock turbo.

You told everyone to reserve those days
And Zach, I think they're harder, tires wear out probably a lot faster on track days, and there's all the hits to your suspension and everything, and multiple shifting up and down and all over the place...
What I'm saying is that track PLUS drag racing is gonna wear things faster

I hope it does or i did the hardest install yet for nothing. I started to pu t it on on saturady but ran into some problems. Finally got it done today so we will find out.
I am going to do the 280 because I am sure if I don't like them I can get someone with a big turbo to swap with me and I am planning on building my own turbo kit as soon as my truck is running and I have the money.
I have thought to be cheap do a t3/t4
but i would really want to do a 3076

Ben call me if you want to do a 3076, I can get you one super cheap!!!
I wouldn't go with 280's unless you're going gt35r or larger. With 272's you have almost 9 degrees of overlap. Unless you have a good manifold and a large turbo that flows a good amount of air, you're going to suffer substantially from combustion chamber contamination. So nut up and do at least a gt-40 on that bad boy!!! I mean come on it's a shop car right???

I dunno i just kinda want to try the 280s since they are the same price. If I don't do the 280s I might just do the buddy clubs 264/272 but I really should just get the 272s they would be the best for my setup.
Ben
PS it is not a shop car it is privately funded

I did replace my old stockers with new ones after the first time at Spring Mountain, maybe you were just recalling that... or maybe I never officially said that I had my pads switched before this last trip to Spring Mountain...
Anyway, what does everyone else think? Think I actually heated up the DS2500s too much (which claim to be race pads, if I'm not mistaken, and lasted just fine at Spring Mountain), or do you think I just boiled my fluid?

.Boise is not really Boonieville, but if that is what people think I hope it keeps them away
I know it's not, I wouldn't even say things like that if you didn't read our posts on here, I just like giving you a hard time for being in Idaho... Pocatello wasn't even THAT bad, Salt Lake is such a huge metropolitan area, that anywhere outside this size looks bad, but if you wanna see real boonieville, drive through East Canyon till you get to Morgan, THAT is boonieville, I think there's ONE main road through that "town" and being in ANY sports car makes you feel REALLY out of place
