I didn't see a black integra out there. What time did it end up with? Jake was the fastest time when we left on Sat with a 60.xx. Next closest time was mine at 61.xx.

Jake ran one 10 min session and I ran two. StuuuuuPID hon-DUH was acting up above about 5500 RPM .... turns out the Mr. Alaniz doesn't quite know how to put a supercharger back on right.

It was a fun event, although the layout was so simple that it was a bit boring after the first few minutes on course.
- Straight
- Sort of a chicane
- Long descreasing radius
- Straight
- Short and cramped decreasing radius
- Straight
- Sort of a chicane but with a bit of a decreasing radius on the back-side
- Long sweeper
- Back into the original straight

I'd go out again if a bunch of others went out. Good place to test and see what parts will come loose and fall of the car.

Good news is that there is plenty of life still left in the RA1s.

-MSM

ps When we left Sara was ahead of D by a second or so.

He got like 5 sessions, I got one, with a million cones and 2 cars that kept spinning out... but okay... wooping... I'm not gonna argue, but that's funny. Everyone, I got wooped by a 1990 turbocharged integra

I got a 60.7ish btw dad, and you got a 61.7ish, cuz I remember thinking we were a second off. And the integra was that beat up car that lined up and we were making fun of how bad it sounded.

dang...i'm just giving you a hard time, i'm sure with more runs you could have improved by 3 or 4 seconds. thats my story with every ivr. the first heat is just warm up. i really didn't mean to make you mad.

You didn't make me mad, sorry it sounded that way... I could've been beaten by EVERYONE there and been just fine, afterall, I was in my car, if you really wanna talk funny woopings I've been beaten by some pretty funny cars on the street, including an old acura Legend and a Galant, that's the point I was trying to make by that "Everyone..." statement... I just was making sure you knew there were other factors other than my driving, including the fact (that may or may not have made much of a difference) that I was only boosting 17 psi.

And I dunno about 3 or 4 seconds, though that would've been awesome, cuz then I'd be right with all those road race cars... I highly doubt it, maybe a second...

jake, do know the spring rate of your jic's. i am trying to decide to get the FLT2 or the tein flex's. i like the flex's because they are teflon coated and hold up well to the elements. but the jic's seem to be more aggressive! and i want the more aggressive!!

my very first ivr last season with the evo completly stock, i only had it for two weeks. temp tags and all. my first heat was 64 something. by the end of the day and three more heats under my belt i had improved to a 60 something. in april with progress sway bar, tein s-techs and a reflash i ran a 53.9. i only got one other session in and i ended the day with a 52.9. i think i had another second in there with a another 10 laps!

You should know me better than that... I know the size of my exhaust, and that's about it... Ray (vtsnake) will know since he put them on and they are his old ones, if ever he logs on.

Jason,

EVO: (Front: 10kgf/mm, 559 lbs/in; Rear: 10kgf/mm, 559 lbs/in) this is the standard tein flex spring rate.

EVO: (front: 8kg, Rear: 7kg) this is the standard jic flta2 spring rate.

Ray told me that Jakes spring rates were stiffer, somewhere around 10kg/9kg if I remember right (don't quote me cause I don't have it in writing, and I may be off) and the current Jic's that Ray has on his car are even stiffer than Jake's.

You should drive a few cars with the coilovers on that you are thinking of getting. I'm sure Jake will take you for a burn, and i'd be more than willing to let you drive mine. Ben over there at Rallycrapdirect is kinda a dick, so even though he has tein's on his car, he probably won't let you even sit in it!!!
