They start getting good at the wear bars. I drove like 10K on the bars, 1 auto-x and an IVR session. *This is not recommended

I'd get the New Azenis. After seeing the Kuhmo MX's tread come off I'm over those. They were my favorite for next tire, but not now. The new Azenis's hold up really well to heat and hard use at "the track"

Just wanted you Bishes to know that I'll be in Mexico for the next 5 days. Try to be nice to each other while I'm gone. Ola, and good day!

So, I installed my boost controller. I routed a line from the side of the Hallman MBC to the wastegate nipple, and capped the nipple coming off the turbo housing, and the two from the actuator. I didn't reuse the line with the restrictor pills in it, instead using new line. Does this sound correct (I ask because its not so clear in the how to section by plokivos or whoever)?

Run the boost signal from the nipple on the turbo, don't bother with the BOV "T" method. You could get a leak at the turbo if you cap it, and that nipple gives a better boost signal for the boost control.

You can remove the hose with the restrictor, and leave the one that goes into the intake.

I'll ask around and see if i can get a group buy rate!!
I am thinking either Falken Azenis ST-615 or Hankook Ventus Z212, both should be a decent autox and summer street tire. Or I may just start running all seasons and put some race tires on my other set of wheels. Need to make a choice soon.

I ran those on my GTi forever and thought they were an excellent tire for the price

Go with separate set with race rubber! For the track get the Toyo RA1. For auto-x ... well ... don't waste your entire day standing around for 6 min of seat time ... just get the RA1s for the track.

Thanks for the info. However, I've already tapped into the BOV line, and I'm not going to deal with that pain in the *** any more.

Have fun in Mexico.

^^what Jared said, you'll experience greater boost spikes from a source that bleeds off air.

A group of us are meeting at the Starbucks on Foothill Drive (below TGIF & Red Butte Cafe) on 24-Jul (this Sun) at 9 AM for a drive up the canyons. Hope you can make it. We're also considering having a BBQ and swimming (water volleyball) at our house after the drive.

Let me know if you're interested. Especially need an RSVP for those that want to come by the house for food ... so I can buy enough.

I'm his son and I'm lost... Foothill drive Starbucks... TGIF... whatever, I know where Red Butte is, that's all that matters... Here's how you get to foothill drive the easiest EVO8UT:

Assuming you're coming from Orem- Take I-15 to the I-215 East Exit, Take I-215 East for awhile and it will wrap around, around the I-80/Parley's Way exits there will be an Exit for Foothill Drive.

I think that's the best way to get there... here...
1412 S. Foothill Drive. Salt Lake City, Utah 84108

That's Red Butte Cafe, use mapquest or yahoo maps and you'll be set. (at least with a rough idea of where it is)
