Street tune
Hey guys, just curious if there is anyone local that does road tunes? (not looking to pay for a dyno tune) Please let me know if you know anyone good and what they charge. (or pm me) Thanks!
Yea I've got it in developer mode and just took a glance at my map. I updated my ecuflash, I had to install service pack 3 for xp cuz it's "recommended" you do so before installing ecuflash 1.41 I don't know if I'd fix the immo code or not..guess I could. So yea I need to do some reading because yea it's confusing and I need to add the tephra v5.10 tables to the xml and I need the p0300 fixed and might fix the p0401 too cuz I don't have any vacuum lines popped off but since it did that one time I cant get the p0401 "egr insufficient flow to go away"
So I'll play with the 96530006 right now for a few minutes before I go out tonight. I might be asking you a few more questions

EDIT: So wtf why is there a 96940011_Mods.xml and a 96940011.xml files?? did you seperate the mods from the base xml file? or they supposed to be serperate? I don't see the tephra mods on my 96940011 map
YES they are supposed to be seperate, the whole point of the MOD file is so you don't have to add tables in base & ROM files.....just drag & drop the MOD xml into the metadata folder. In the future when you upgrade, just move the mod file rather than adding tables all over again.
The PO300 fix is done in the periphery bits , you can also disable the EGR there as well.....keep in mind that you may have to re-enable the EGR for emissions.

I checked out your Garage, Cool! I just put one together if you get a chance take a look. Sinister Evo.
If you don't fix the IMMO. then it must be disabled or the car just wont start.

and you mean rommetadata folder right? one more ? did you add the periphery bits into your xml files? I didn't look I'm trying to see how the tephra mods are in this newer alt map version because I've been on the older tephra mod for this whole time never upgraded. I might need a start on help with tuning boost via load...maybe something to start with? and I can use my 3 port Mac valve until later when I can get a jdm map sensor and gm 3port
I'll fix the IMMO then. I can't see the mods when I load the map unless the base xml file has the added tables..wtf

To get all three to work together....
Step 4 of the instructions...
You will see this close to the top in the rom file...
</romid>
<include>evo7base_20081101</include>
<!-- *** <include>96530006_Mods</include> *** -->
Remove the arrows on the line with 96530006_MODS
should look like this...
</romid>
<include>evo7base_20081101</include>
<include>96530006_Mods</include>
Periphery bits are in the base file.
You can also use the stock solonoid with a different pill...alot of people get good results with that also. I'm sure a base line to start tuning from wont be too difficult.
