I was asking 7500 at the end of last summer but it was to late in the season noone was really looking

I think 7k would be fair for it but I am open to offers. If I don't get enough for it I will just keep it

The more boost you have, the more timing needs to be pulled. I'm @ 24psi on pump right now. The only knock I have i have is @ part throttle....still working on that.

Jake, have you checked out that STI at Autostrada? http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...r_id=257010630

Also.. Check out State Farm for bike insurance. I pay $200 a year for full coverage on my R6. Granted I'm an old man, but I was paying $50 a month before I turned 25.

Yeah, I have. I went in there, they were the ones that told me about Porsche prices and the seasons and showed me the last year's auction values. I think it was one of the two shop owners. I sent them an email earlier today asking what they could do for sure on the Porsche and they said to call tomorrow and sort out the details and they'd see what they could give me.

Full coverage for 200 a year is crazy. The 87 was liability only It was like 1200 every 6 months with full coverage.

What kind of loan did you get for your's anyway?

I ran 24psi on 91oct back with my old viii turbo, stock injectors. You'll prob end up around 24psi it's good # on pump gas with a stock turbo. Every car and tuner is different too, **** my motor just lovvves timing and can run more then what ppl normally run and it's conservatively tuned right now I'd say but I've got meth injection as well.

most tuners go for more timing / power over boost...no sence in running such high boost worrying about knock and if it's not making any power then it's a waste....pump gas just sucks

Nah, it's just more of a challenge to run more boost....there are a few tuners on this board that have successfully run 27-28psi on pump.

I remember looking at youre map a while ago, it is very conservative, I had the same timing @ peak boost and almost as much at redline....all on 91 oct

They are fine if you dont push beyond your limitations, and are a defensive driver. Biggest thing I worry about is other drivers.

Yep like razorlab, buschur and a few others. If you look at razorlabs post he's really not making that much power running that much boost on pump and of course Dave just did it to prove he did it....93 pump gas on his though, **** I wish we had 93 + methonal that would be ****ing siiiiiiiiiick

I told you it's conservative haha I could probably have the meth fail and maybe be safe? After having to replace a motor etc. it makes you a little reluctant to go ***** out I probably would've tuned it at 32psi and aggressive as hell tune

If I remember right that thing was a torque monster though...would have been interesting to see what the intake temps were at those boost levels.

I wish we had 93 too..100 is sooo damn expensive

For sure, any catastrophic failure will make anybody think twice about agressive tuning I was more or less agreeing with you about you're tune...not putting it down One key element I did leave out is when I was running that much timing it was on the stock cams. Since replacing them my days of running alot of timing was over....until the meth was working that is The '05 cars kick *** for some reason!
