The steak at the local cafe there was exceptional. $9 for dinner and the steak was better than the $65 filet at Harris' in San Fran.

You need to hit the track with us in the spring. We will be doing Spring Mountain again in Mar/Apr and then Miller's new over priced playground in May.
What do you think of the Kumho 710s for track?

never did get the bus stop perfectly down but it was fun!
Magic Moutain was crazy with street tires. at first we ran on street tires and when i went over the "hump" i turned when i was at the peak and when the car was "light". i got a little sideways. Not much but enough to make me $hit my pants.
After the morning runs, we switched to the Kumhos V700's. Holy $hit what a difference. After I mastered Magic, i wanted to see what the V700's would feel like over the hump and turning at the peak again. It was an awesome feeling. The car got light and when it settled it wanted to get sideways but the tires just grabbed and shot you straight. It definitely got your heart going. Of course i did it when no one was around.
Anyway, DO NOT run the 710's on the track. They wouldn't last very long imo. That tire is designed for autoxing. It's the best autox tire hands down right now and would be great on the track but probably only for the first couple of laps.
Just stick with what works.... TOYO RA1's. Great track tire (terrible autox tire) and they last long.... Otherwise go with Hoosier's
BTW, we'll see what i can do about track time in Spring. I would like to run MMP at least once next year but if not it won't kill me. I might hit the tracks up here tho.
