IT IS FUN
plus: never doing anything with that car other than the midnight drags is like lighting cigars with a flame thrower.
i want to see vesco break the standing record at willow...
i will probably get into the drivers seat too but i doubt i will ever be capable of that level of driving.
oh and Buschur sponsered the car and i got sic prices on the engine and everything else we just shoved into the car.
I can't imagine turning at the top of Magic Mountain on street or track tires! I always kept the wheels STRAIGHT, STRAIGHT, STRAIGHT through the top and most of the back of that turn.
Hope you make it down in the spring. Talk Dennis into coming down to Spring Mountain in Mar. He can drive down with us and we can pick you up from the airport in Vegas. You and he can pick up some disease from the brothels down there and we can all have a blast at the track.
Damn ... I was hoping I could run 710s for the track. I'd like to run the 245 F 275 R setup that's possible with the 710s. I guess I'll go with 235 F 275 R with the RA1s. The RA1 setup will require running a LOT more negative camber up front to keep the car neutral.
REMINDER: group drive tomorrow (Sun) morning at 8:30 AM. We're meeting at the coffee place right off I-215 east 6200 south exit. Coffee shop is in the shopping area by Loco Lizard, Zions Bank, etc on the road towards the cottonwood Market Street Grill.

Actually i did it a few times cause i like the "OH $HIT" feeling!
But then later Dennis said i was "pushing" it so i stopped.
As for him making it to SM, fat chance. Remember he has kids??? Have you even seen the twins yet???
I doubt i'll be able to make it to SM myself. I'll already be travelling a lot next year and squeezing SM in will be hard. Heck i don't even know if i'll go to SLC. Only way is if it's for business. And if i'm lucky there will be a MMP HPDE going on when i am down there.
So, what happened to Vesco's evo?? The one that had a full cage, and fully seem welded chassis?? I thought that was the car you were refering to. Why is he racing your car Seth?? Did he sell the other one? Or is it just not ready?
anyone watch that video in the ams thread??? "ams car on the streets" that is ridiculous the acceleration of that car is flat out sick.... notice there still using the 2.0??? hmmmmmmmm

About Vesko's Evo: Vesko has never owned an Evo, the yellow one he was working on belonged to a former client of his and has been returned to that individual. Yes, it had a cage. No it wasn't seem welded. The drivetrain was completely stock. It had some double adjustable Teins and a homemade exhaust. Oh and don't forget "my" sweet Momo steering wheel...

i do know that the yellow car is on the stock turbo
button willow is a big track, power is good
Got off with a verbal waring today for blowing thourgh a stop sign. I was turning right onto 8th south (sunnyside) about 2 blocks west of foothill. He was a U of U cop and was very cool. This was the first time I have been pulled over in my Evo in Utah.

Seth my boy, in the immortal words of your hero Vesko "Getting less than a normal dealer discount does not constitute sponsorship." I'm curious why you are claiming to be "sponsored" yet you pay what seems to be the manufacturer's suggested retail price on just about everything you pay for. I'm not talking about all the suspension and other goodies you had to remove and return to their owner after this event, I'm talking about the $12k+ you spent in parts alone plus labor to barely make 500 hp before Vesko blew it up.
Why did you claim that you and Vesko took second place, then asked repeatedly "who took second and third overall?" Really, why? If your first post was correct, why even ask? If you made it up to look cool, why then ask people who really took second. If someone you don't trust possibly misinformed you, why did you post that disinformation in the first place? I really don't understand...

my car is not blown up.
a five dollar gasket let lose and we did not have a replacement
buschur is sponsoring the car.
it would be silly to assume that they are giving me thousands of dollars in free parts when we have never won a race.
buschur has been very good to me and i am grateful.
please do not assume that you know what i spent on the car or what i spent on this race unless you talk to me personally. i would not have a problem at all talking about it. i would not however go into detail on the forums it's tacky.
this entire line of questioning is silly. if you have problems with vesko, talk to vesko. i do not even know who you are, so i doubt you have problems with me.
everyone did a lot of work and had a lot of fun and we did very good for our first time out.
