btw, ordered more parts today!!! just a few more engine mods and i'll be done ordering!!! suspension, wheels, and tires will be the only thing left! i better be ready for spring mountain in march!!!
Yeah ... thanks for all your help yesterday.

I don't have a problem with road tunes. Modern came down to Pahrump and spent a few hours fine tuning the dyno tune for sea level with a road tune. A/F and other parameters monitored and tuned using the EMS.

Are there any before and after dyno results posted?

I don't have a baseline for my evo stock, but Jeremy's put down 193 to the wheels. That is the only stock number I will be able to go off of unless I pull everything off my car ,and I don't feel like doing that. I would like to get a before and after fro my base flash and then the custom tune.

I know on an evo with a drop in K&N, MBC and fuel pump he is getting around 280 to the wheels on a custom tune while on a DynoJet.

Proven results? I think half the people on this website have had some sort of Dynoflash, and many have dyno sheets. I think Dynoflash is by far the most proven Evo tuner. He owns the fastest non-nitrous Evo, and has tuned way more cars than any other tuner.

Zach are you gonna get a Dynoflash?

A bit off topic, but i was in Alta/Snowbird last weekend and the snow quality up there absolutely rocks! Although it hasn't snowed in the past 3-4 days prior to my arrival, i still found many spots full of freshies in the glades and gulleys. You Utah peeps are absolutely spoiled up there and i'm totally jealous!

Check out his forum on this site, plenty of dyno results there. He does alot of his tuning at Pruven Performance in CT on their dyno, but when he does road trips he gives people the choice if both are available.

Like Scott said I have a stock baseline for my car at Modern of 193 hp and 204 tq. I did that the day I talked to you, I was there with a bunch of RX7 guys. I do plan on a return trip to Modern to find out where the car is with full turbo back and then again sometime after I get the flash.

Thanks, look forward to seeing your post tune results. 193 seems low. What did the others get? My S2K was 209 before I had the motor built and the supercharger installed. Jake's Evo always felt consistently more powerful than the S2K until I had the supercharger installed. Based on how his Evo feels ... I always assumed the dyno numbers were closer to 240 or 250 to the wheels for the Evo. If it's only 193 ... I need to come with some new excuses for how he beat me at Spring Mountain.

Evo's dyno around 220-240 at the wheels on Dynojets. But Mustangs and DynoDynamics read much lower.

As far as the Spring Mountain...EVO>S2000.

The 209 was on Modern's mustang dyno. I bet the difference is in the curve with the S2K power only coming on very late. I would think though with the 270+ claimed HP for the Evo, that the Mustang dyno numbers would be more in the range of 240.

... and yes, at least with Jake behind the wheel the Evo > S2K at Spring Mountain. Consolation for me though is that of the four Evos there, Jake was the only one that was faster.

How many of you are seriously planning on going down for the 19-Mar event at Spring Mountain?
