my first evo clutch went at 10k. it doesn't help clutch wear when you launch off the rev limiter.

I don't know. I purchased my car used, and the previous owner had already replaced the clutch. I believe the price was under $1000 including parts and labor, but I'm not sure. The ACT clutches I've seen online seem to be around $400, so the total sounds about right to me.

I ran an ACT in my subaru, but it started to make a "clicking" sound and had a weird snapping engagement at the end of the pedal travel (near the floor). The clutch seemed fine but I don't know about the "clicking".

I drove a friends WRX with an Excedy twin disk and it was a bear on the street. The pedal was heavy and the engagement of the disk serious. If you weren't paying attention it made you look like a fool.

I don't know what clutch I will rock after the stocker... probally ACT again because I get deals on them.

Scott-

Hey, remember how I've been complaining about boost problems and spikes... I think it's the fact that I'm rockin' the stock cat-back with the new muffler after the 3 in down pipe. At medium RPM's the turbo spools fast and hard. But at high RPM's and large air flow the stocker 2.25 section with the resonators is choking my "flow" and boost is dropping.

Luckily I'm in Taiwan... home of free exhaust parts. I'm seeing if I can get a 3 in muffler and a couple of 3 in mandrel bent pieces so I can weld up a full 3 in system.
