Why don't you convince Hill AFB to let people race up there again? As for a straight line, what's the point in that, I mean, I'd have to have at least a little bit of a chance and all I've got are some JIC coilovers...and look back on this thread, I think I suggested a canyon run meet like 4 times with no answers at all, we could try a canyon run at 10pm but it'd be like midnight before we're on our way back if we really go up a fun canyon. Plus, there's always tracks, which more of you should come out to next time, course last time I wasn't even posting on here...Spring Mountain March sometime...the more Evos there are the more chances we'll have of one beating that Z06

We had a canyon run, you just missed it (ha ha). I like the idea of midnight canyon runs, but with the snow coming I think it is going to draw the deer further down the canyone, i.e. probably where we would be driving. I did a midnight run in the summer and it was great, no deer for the most part, but then about a week ago, I was going up 9400 south towards little cottonwood, and I saw some deer on the road not way below wasatch blvd. Maybe I'm just a wuss though.

Maybe, I was going to argue with you, but I think you're right(after I thought about it for a minute) but how many of the guys on here can say that they did 160 for like a mile and a half with four other cars on the freeway, while the nutswingers just fell behind???

I used to think that drag racing was easy, then I tried it with a modified car, now i'm thinking otherwise. I think back though, and Mike with little to no experience in autocross, co-drove Ethan's hatch, and beat 90% of the guys in our class. However I don't think he pulled a sub 1.8sec 60ft his first time out to the drag strip.

Any of the canyon areas up East Canyon area are awesome, but that does push it late into the night, hey wanna know something cool just as a tidbit, yesterday at Modern while they were tuning the S2000 I watched a video on testing the MR, turns out that the extra 4kg in the roof HELPS handling, the MR with extra weight on top was faster than the normal MR with the aluminum hood, just thought that it was pretty funny.

Let me remind everyone on this thread that I drove a 552 hp, $160000 Bentley twin turbo W-12 Continental GT over the weekend up in Seattle WA. Faster than an EVO, and everything inside was hand-crafted leather...oh yeah it's also AWD.

give me 130000 dollars and I'll make an Evo faster than that Bentley, including adding hand-crafted leather

I don't think you could make the evo as luxurious as the bently. That car is by far the most gorgeous luxury exotic out there IMO.

Jared i'm jealous.

The Bently had an awesome exhaust note. A low mean roar. When you open it up valves in the exhaust open up and let it scream, kinda like the stock evo .

Does the Bentley use the 6.0L W-12? If so, isn't that the one in the VW Pheaton and some versions of the Audi A8, cause I wanna hear a VW with a bad *** exhaust note, it would be fun to surprise people.
