On another note, when exactly did I say Ethan was number 1 in my world??

Looks like I owe you an apology, you weren't at the last event I attended. Here are the results of that race. It was my first time driving the car, and it was on street tires. Not making excuses just letting you know the facts (so you don't think i'm blowing smoke out my ***) http://www.imgoingcrazy.com/URSCCAre...event3_pax.htm
My name is Rob Story and I was driving the white sti at this event. I'm having a hard time digging anything up from 03, but i'll keep trying, and i'll post it when I do.

I can't get results from 2003, if you know where I can please let me know. I'm particularly interested in the results from the state fairpark June 2003. If my memory serves correctly, Christian co drove your car at this event. I however may be wrong, and smoke may be billowing out of my *** so if such is the case i'll apologize ahead of time so as to not offend you and send you into another rant .

As for spring mountain in March, I would love to go and give you the opportunity to kick my @$$, that is if you will do it in a civilized manner . I know of a few others who would probably be willing as well, so let me know where to get some info.

-K- thanks, and sorry if I've come across as a @$$ chimney that billows smoke, i'm not normally like this......

OK this one time, people worried about stuff that doesn't matter, regardless of who's a better driver in a better car, the ultimate point still stands that Rob can make it up and down the canyon at speed right now, and I'd pay money to see the S2000 survive AT SPEED 200yrds into the canyon....lol AWD RULZ!!! Plus, snowboarding rules too, and you can't hardly do that with a little two seater roadster. And friends are always good too, and you can only have one if you have an S2000 and in the Evo you can have 4 (well like 6 if you count trunk space)

Edit: Anyone know where I can find a Skyline to give him a ride in? lol

You however need to calm down, I specifically stated that all i'd like to do is have a little bit of friendly competition, I never expected you to have the full on nascar Richard Petty attitude of I'm so better than you and you are blowing smoke out your ***.

I'll dig up some results from quite a ways back, post them, and go from there. Until then please try to act like the "Adult" you are...
Teenage high school picked on days? roflmao That one smells funny too!

Bottomline is as an "adult" I will take the time to look into claims that are clearly BS. ... and if you want to talk smack and have some friendly competion -- which by the way I consider this to be -- then you better be prep'ed for others to wave the BS flag.

What's a Modena? Does it have better track times stock-for-stock with an Evo?

Who cares!? It's one of the most beautiful cars on the planet. I'd give up a few seconds a lap on the track JUST for that exhaust note!

Serious? A Ferrari 360 Modena. It would woop a stock evo just about anywhere it pleases. How about a Stratadale (or however its spelled) MSM S2K? I'll take a ride in one of those if you know of anyone with one.

Uh...astro, don't you read magazines? Woop...I don't think woop is the right word, that's like an Evo vs a Miata, an Evo would woop a Miata, a 360 wouldn't be TOO far ahead that they'd lap an Evo, couple seconds maybe. (this is assuming a professional driver in both, I'm sure a Modena makes up for driver being sucky a little more than an Evo) Plus, the Evo still has a shorter braking distance for 60-0 than a Modena Can anyone tell yet that the Evo is my dream car and I worship it and no other false gods?

Edit: In case anyone was wondering that "what's a modena?" was just a joke, there's way too much Project Gotham Racing 2 in these veins to not know what the modena is.

Worshiping the EVO is one thing ... sounding like a bunch of hicks is another. This thread has now reached critical hick mass.

FASHION PLACE MALL PARKING LOT NEXT TO FOOD COURT ENTRANCE FRIDAY 11-19-04 AT 10PM. TELL ANYONE THAT HAS AN STi OR EVO.
THIS IS NOT A STREET RACING MEET!! AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FASHION PLACE MALL!!
I'M NOT SURE EXACTLY WHAT THE PLAN IS BUT WE CAN SORT IT OUT THEN. E-MAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

All in good fun "ya'll" ...

This thread is getting really large I propose again putting together at least a monthly thread ... Like "EVOs in Utah -- Nov."

BTW I just finished a 'real' carbon fiber mudflap design. Note to self ... install the hardware on the flaps 'before' mounting the flaps. :P The information from Grassroots Motorsports Mag. is the bomb, it had a really good carbon fiber write this last month!

I'll post up some pics and give a little writeup soon. For this last week, I promised myself I wouldn't drive the washed and waxed EVO around UNTIL the flaps got mounted ... boy that made for some 'really' cold motorbike commutes .

Cheers,

jcnel.

I propose that we don't listen to the guy that called us a bunch of hicks...any seconds?

Edit: Don't mudflaps on ANY vehicle make you a hick? Is your Evo off the ground like 20 feet, or do you just want the mud flaps so people can see it and be like "what the, mudflaps on an Evo...awesome, I think..."
