Yeah, I checked it out a little earlier; seems to be pretty good business for Al.

Dammit, someone needs to think of something else to talk about. This thread is dying.

Ok I will start a topic.

Who here is running a 100% VTA blow off valve? Which valve are you running? Do you have stalling issues? Pulled any codes because of it?

I am running a TXS RFL. I love the sound but I have had some stalling issues with it and pulled 2 codes I belive to be caused by it
DTC P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit
DTC P0340: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit

Since doing this I have put the stock BOV on but left it VTA just for fun. I will be buying a Worx tuning BOV. So if you would like to try a RFL BOV I will have mine for sale sometime and would like to sell it to someone local but hearing my problems I don't think it will sell good.

Well there you go TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also I just went out and took the car for a ride. The stock BOV will leak under part throttle so don't VTA it or it will bog like hell So reinstalled the RFL because of how bad the stock actually leaks.

I'd upgrade my car if I had even a half-assed-paying job. As it is, though, I'm trying to get some upgrades on my computer, so that new buschur race block is going to have to wait.

Sightings!!!

1 red EVO @ Target at Southe Towne
1 Silver EVO on 10600 S. @ apprx. 1300W.

I would like to go cruising sometime. I mean if my car is good enough for ya'll I have a '97 GS-t all worked up.

Everytime I see one, I regret and cry that I ever sold mine. But it was for the better, so I have to think of it that way. And it's not like and EVO IX and X aren't coming out in the next two years anyways, so it gives me time to save $$$$$.
I am very ENVIOUS of you guys.

Have you heard of Phantom Motorsports? That is why I sold my car. They @#$$@ it up bad. Let me reiterate myself. I took it to them to have some installs done. Just some basics cause I wanted to see how it would react to the mods. Well it took them just about a month & half to install Walbro pump, SAFCII, gauges, MBC, turbo timer, NX express, BOV. That should have been my sign not to go with them. Well I got the car back and I go with the tech to test drive the car. Well, we are driving and I give it WOT and my boost gauge hits whopping 30lbs. I thought what the $#%##. We both see it, get out and he adjusts it. Goes down to about 25lbs. Adjust again. I am fine with 21lbs. Well the car throws a check engine. Disconnect battery and all the other jib jab. Have the car for a week and my SAFCII starts wigging out and sorts of crap. Take it back to them have it for a 1 day. And my boost is back up to 30lbs. By this time, I am pissed and I find out about Modern. Take it to them and throw it on the dyno. Well we (they, Modern) wasn't able to correct my SAFCII and my fuel curve, boost, air/fuel and my car would peak tourque and whp at like 3250rpms and it just wasn't fixable Modern said.
So I sold it to Ken Garff, and gave my problem to someone else.
I hate everyday that I sold it, and everyday that I took it to Phantom.

That's funny, because the day I bought my white one at Ken Garff Sandy, they told me they had a used blue one at their other store.....I had heard the rumors of the problems with your car. I said no to that offer and bought my white one. Your story has been around the block a few times. Glad to actually find out what happened to the car. I actually saw the same similar car though up here in Layton.
