Utah Evos
Agreed, but my winky-dink research job pays winky-dink amounts of money. Plus, I have to get some work done on my '72 Bronco. Once I have that project finished I'm going to sell it off and hopefully pay off the Evo.
Well, I just got back from taking the Evo out. There seems to be a few new rattles coming from somewhere inside the car, but those were bound to happen anyway I guess. I took the car up to 60mph and it seemed remarkably smooth, no more vibrations than what existed previously. The alignment is definitely off, the car pulls to the left a bit (the side I curbed the car on), but its not horrific, and it seems to come and go. So, hopefully a trip to the shop will cure all of these and maybe even make it better than before.
So who's thinking of coming on Saturday, dyno or not? And if you want dyno time at all, better pm bimmer on the Utah Scca forums fast!
Scott: 44 degrees F, with a 30% chance of RAIN, not snow...your advans can do that

I will probably try and make it down though, but yes it does depend on the weather. The GTI will be fixed by then
I pmed bimmer about possibly getting a spot. I would like to know where the car is before I get the flash done. On a side note, some friends of mine are planning a dyno day in March at Modern, so if you are interested he said he would hold some spots for me.
No one wants to see your crappy VW Scott....
And what day abouts in March bullfrg, cuz I probably want one after the flash, just to make sure it's really 175 well spent.
And...nope, that's it

Actually, my GTI was as fast as my evo when it was stock.......and its not crappy, except now it has a nice big dent in the door

Lets talk about how much first.
don't call people retards, I didn't say crappy GTI, I said crappy VW...just like I say crappy Mitsubishi, but rock awesome Evo...it's not the car's fault that the manufacturer sucks, nor is it your's...don't get all defensive!
Oh, and yeah, it's 90 dollars for an AWD dyno 2-3 runs is what they're looking at so far, and 25 dollars extra and they'll hook up a wideband too...but I think Eon was asking about how much for the dyno in March? If I'm not mistaken (as I often am)
