And Dad...it's a 4g63, not some cheap-o Honda motor, or Alaniz tech motor

The MBC contoller I made is EXACTLY the same as a Perrin. It works perfect. Trust me I'm an Engineer!

I tried that, i gained 20whp, but the front end was weighed down so much that it was actually slower...
Jared, I think I'll just save up for a good ceramic ball one...cuz if I spend 10 and then 110, that's 120...or I could just spend 110, and be set.

My dyno time will be around 2 p.m., so I'll be there a little earlier than that.

and let me guess robi, that's the one you have? I think for 50...I'll save up 60 more and get a Hallman Pro...
Edit: ouch, harsh...anyway, my problem is just having money for the MBC before the tune...and 50 bucks is a good deal, but then I'd need ~40 bucks for the tune, which I'd be at a loss to get, and then there's the install of the MBC...I think I'll do the baseflash...wait till I have enough for intake, fuel pump, and MBC, and a mail-in reflash, and get all of that at roughly the same time....

Looks like no open spots for the dyno day this weekend. I should not have procrastinated when I heard about it. I guess I will just use Jakes #'s to give me a rough idea of where I am at.

Jake, I have an AMS ball-spring MBC that I'd sell you for $20, and I'd install it for you for no cost. It works better than the turbo-xs (IMHO) I had them on my car back to back. It will only dial 24psi though , however I think that will be plenty for your needs. Spool up with it will be quicker than stock, but not as quick as with the ceramic ball Hallman. I planned on using it on my sandrail, but I think i'm going to do an EBC. So, if you're interested, let me know.

I plan on doing a Ported and bench flowed head next summer (2006) along with either the 2.3 stroker, or the ross slugs and pauter rods. I want the head work so I can spin that sucker to 9-grand!!! That is unless my marriage turns into a money pit and I end up selling the EVO!!

Looks like Rob is selling his car.

When I get around to it I'm going to put a ceramic ball in my MBC. Then my cost will be up $10.25. Ball bearings are cheap yo!

If Jake does not want it, I will take it off your hands.

Hey, have you all seen this gauge panel thats on the main page? Here is the link http://www.42draftdesigns.com/lancer.htm . What do you think? Why is this panel with 3 gauges only $170, when I look at the gauges being sold at lancershop.com and they are like $200 a piece?
